Service Description
Schedule a virtual screening to better understand your child’s — or your own — sensory processing patterns and how they show up in daily life. This service includes an introductory session, a standardized sensory screening, a follow-up consultation, and a brief written summary of results. A link for this virtual session will be sent by email after the session appointment is confirmed.
Cancellation Policy
Nurture by Design Booking Policy We strive to create fair, respectful scheduling policies that support our clients while also helping us sustain thoughtful, high-quality services and availability for all families. Because appointment times are intentionally limited and reserved in advance, we kindly ask all clients to review the following booking policies before scheduling. Scheduling Availability Initial appointments may be booked directly through our website during currently listed online availability. At this time, initial services are primarily offered on Friday afternoons. Follow-up appointments for established clients may be scheduled on additional weekdays based on availability and client needs. Appointments may be booked no sooner than 2 weeks in advance and no further than 120 days ahead. Payment & Reservation Fees may be collected at the time of booking to reserve your appointment. Refunds or adjustments, when applicable, will be processed according to attendance and this policy. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes. • Changes made 48 hours or more in advance may be rescheduled or refunded according to booking terms. • Changes made less than 48 hours before the appointment may be subject to a 25% late cancellation fee. • Rescheduling requests made within the 48-hour window may be treated as late cancellations. No-Show Policy Clients who do not attend a scheduled appointment without notice may be charged a 50% no-show fee. A no-show may include missing the appointment entirely or arriving so late that the session cannot reasonably be completed. Courtesy & Emergencies We understand that unexpected situations happen. In certain circumstances, a fee may be waived at our discretion for established clients or emergencies. If Nurture by Design must unexpectedly cancel an appointment, we will gladly offer rescheduling options or a full refund when applicable. Appointment Reminders Courtesy reminders may be sent when available; however, clients remain responsible for tracking their scheduled appointment time. Late Arrival If you arrive late, your session may still need to end at the originally scheduled time in order to respect other scheduled commitments.
